In these most difficult of times, funds from Hustle Helps foundation will be diverted to help those who need it for as long as possible to help you stay active, healthy and to help get through this. I am looking forward to when things can become more normal. It is lovely to hear of some classes that are able to return to in person classes in some parts of the world.
However, at this time many of us cannot attend classes in person. Please see below for ways to stay active including live virtual classes.

VIRTUAL CLASS FAQ'S:
HOW WILL THE CLASS PROCESS WORK?
All central classes will be run centrally normally by Gillian. Instructors will receive approx 50% fee of EACH of their class members or family / friends attending a class.
*This may fluctuate depending on a number of factors including guest Instructors teaching in future etc.
IS THERE FREE CLASS PLACES?
For those that cannot afford to access a class due to tough times financially at this terrible time you are being offered a free place. There a set number of free places released every week funded by Hustle Helps Foundation.
Note: If you access a free place your linked Instructor will still get their fee which will be funded by Hustle Helps Foundation for as long as possible.

WHAT IS THE COST OF A VIRTUAL CLASS?
A limited amount of FREE places every week for those who need it are being offered. If you feel able to pay it is £3 (Community Members) £3.50 (Regular rate)
Please note approx conversions which may fluctuate: FREE places are available worldwide; US: $3.5 -$4.2 Canada:$5 - $5.9; Australia: $6 - $7
Payment is via PayPal so there is no fee for the class attendee. You may also use a credit card if you do not use PayPal.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR A FREE CLASS?
If you can afford to pay the fee it is aimed to keep the fee very reasonable. You are also supporting your local Instructor too by opting to pay the small fee.
WHY ARE ALL CLASSES NOT FREE FOR ALL?
Unfortunately, Highland Hustle does not receive income from revenues such as YouTube advertising (unlike many of the big current fitness celebrities). Our revenue comes from training Instructors / membership and class fees. Therefore, with a surprising amount of overheads in business we cannot offer all our content and services for free. But, Highland Hustle is genuinely trying to help according to needs. Highland Hustle takes a small fee from paying attendees to help with running costs and to allow Highland Hustle to be here at the other side of this. PayPal will also take a process fee - this is charged to Highland Hustle not class attendees.
WHY ARE INSTRUCTORS GETTING A CUT OF THE FEE IF THEY ARE NOT TEACHING?
Highland Hustle Instructors tend to be a supportive bunch, are valued highly and are part of a great Highland Hustle family! They also have fixed annual costs on top of hall rent such as insurance etc.
Some Instructors teach Highland Hustle as their main source of income. Gillian, along with the Hustle Helps Committee have decided they want to support them to come out the other side and teach classes once again after COVID 19 has passed.
PLEASE NOTE: SOME INSTRUCTORS (WHO ARE IN A FINANCIAL POSITION TO DO SO) WAIVE THEIR FEE WHICH THEY WILL EITHER DONATE TO CHARITY OR DONATE TO HUSTLE HELPS FOUNDATION TO ALLOW MORE FREE CLASSES TO BE AVAILABLE . THANK YOU TO THOSE INSTRUCTORS
HOW DO I ACCESS THE VIRTUAL CLASSES:
This will be through the use of Zoom. You will require internet access and ideally a device no smaller than an iPad (although some with good eyesight have managed on a phone so far!)
You will receive an email with a link and some basic instructions prior to signing up
At least 1.5 hours before the class you will be sent an invitation to your class with instructions via email
There is also a link to a short video tutorial and information at the class booking link to help you get started. This information is also at the bottom of this page. It may be worth having a little practice before you get started for the first class.
CAN MORE THAN ONE PERSON IN MY HOUSE TAKE PART IN A VIRTUAL CLASS?
Yes - everyone can take part as long as they are in front of the same screen using the one zoom link
WHY HAS THE CLASS CLOSED FOR BOOKING?
Either the class is full and all capacity is taken OR the class is closed to allow time for the email instructions and class code to be sent to you. It is advised to book as quickly as possible.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL INVITATION FOR THE CLASS:
If you do not have email inviting you to the class at least 1.5 hours before the class please check your spam mail. If you find it there it is important it is marked as not spam to help it arrive into your inbox next time.
Please check that your email was correctly input at the time of order or setting up the account.
You can also sign into Zoom and your meeting invitations should be found there also.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY VIDEO ON SO I AM SEEN BY OTHERS?
It will improve the feeling of a being with others and joining a group of people if your camera is on and to allow safe corrections (which will be kept general like a normal class) our recommendation is to keep the camera on. However, this is not a requirement to have the camera on to join the class.
Please remember to warn anybody else in the house that your camera is on though!
With that said, we all understand if children are walking around whilst you work out for example!
CAN EVERYONE IN THE CLASS HEAR ME?
No your microphone will be muted so no noise from your home will be heard.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT THE QUALITY OF THE VIEWING EXPERIENCE?
This is something totally different for us and due to factors out with our control such as bandwidth and use at that time the experience may vary. It may also vary from class to class in your home. We are doing everything possible to make it a good quality experience. If you have any ideas to help with this we'd love to hear them!
CAN I USE ROUTINES IN FUTURE/ RECORD CLASS?
No. Please do respect Highland Hustle copyright and the work that has gone into creating the concept and content. Thank you.
IS THE CLASS FEE REFUNDABLE?
Normally, no. If you are ill between booking the class and it going ahead with suspected COVID 19 we will extend your class pass to another class at a future time and under exceptional illness circumstances due to the virus this class fee could of course be refunded
HOW DO I MAKE SURE MY INSTRUCTOR RECEIVES HER CLASS FEE?
At the booking link you can select your date and time, then at the checkout name your Instructor at the time of booking in the notes prior to checking out. Please remember to add the full name or name and area if you do not know to ensure it goes to the right person!
DO INSTRUCTORS PAY FOR VIRTUAL CLASSES?
At this stage, there are no plans for Instructors to pay for classes and their household will get access to a classes for free.
MIGHT THIS PROCESS CHANGE?
Due to the ever changing situation,the above arrangements may change. Classes will be released gradually as we move ahead. %'s mentioned above MAY have to change OR if we feel in a position to offer more free classes or reduce class price this will happen too. Please bear with us and we are open to suggestions.
