We aim to keep the grant application process as simple and transparent as possible.
You will be required to briefly explain how your grant would help the Highland Dance community recover from financial impact of COVID. At this time we hope to focus on helping competitions to return safely with this phase of funding being available for competitions prior to November 2021. You will be asked to provide:
- what the grant will be used for (i.e. equipment, tutor fee, hall rent, COVID safety measures, professional risk assessment, to put digital non contact procedures into place etc)
- the competition date (competition date requires to be prior to November 2021 for this phase of funding)
- all successful applicants will be required to provide photographic evidence of how the grant funding has been implemented.
Grant applications of up to £200 will be considered for non profit organisations at this time.
All Grants will be assessed by the Hustle Helps Committee. Please ensure you carefully read the aims of the Hustle Helps Foundation prior to applying.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The Hustle Helps Foundation are particularly interested in sustainable projects and / or to help competitions overcome barriers to ensure safe participation following the COVID pandemic.
- Projects can benefit children or adults
- In normal circumstances the Grant will paid after the event or after payment when evidence is submitted to Hustle Helps. However, occasionally half or the full Grant can be awarded in advance should this be a barrier to the activity / competition going ahead. Please state this where possible at the time of application
- Although photographic evidence is normally required, if this is a barrier to involvement (such as vunerable groups etc), this should be stated at the time of applying for the Grant. Where applicable the Hustle Helps Board will take this into consideration
- Hustle Helps has no responsibility or association with any organisation / individual awarded funding. All local laws / safety measures are the organisations / individuals responsibility
